H. Joseph Naim, MD
H. Joseph Naim, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained bariatric laparoscopic specialist who has been in practice since 2004. He specializes in laparoscopic gastric bypass, open gastric bypass, revisional surgery, laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, and LAP-BAND placement procedures. Dr. Naim earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City with a distinction in research and completed his fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at University Medical Center at Princeton under bariatric surgeon Robert E. Brolin, MD. He holds memberships at several Bariatric Center of Excellence hospitals, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, and Chapman Medical Center, and is affiliated with the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
