Kelly A. Francis, MD

Kelly A. Francis, MD, specializes in general and bariatric surgery and serves as Chief of the Department of Surgery at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley. She obtained her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Tulane University Department of Surgery, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Dr. Francis is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, where she serves as a mentor for Young Women in Surgery. Her advanced laparoscopic experience includes hernia repair, laparoscopic gastrectomy, gastric banding, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, and minimally invasive Whipple procedures.
